This is Maverick Case Asbery. He was born at 32 weeks via emergency C-section on 7/24/2017 at 6:52 am. He weighed 5lbs 4 oz. and was 17" long. He was born with no signs of life (zero heartbeat or respirations) until he was revived after 15 minutes and was able to live for 5 days in the NICU with the help of mechanical ventilation, a great medical team and the Grace of God. Due to his birth occurrences, Maverick sustained severe brain damage and multi-organ failure. Unfortunately, the only treatment for his severe condition was to remove the vent and provide comfort care. He is the baby brother of Dakota, age 9 and Elijah, age 2. They were looking forward to bringing him home but were stuck with the heartache of this tragedy just as much as us, his parents. Our family has taken this event very hard and have many bad days still. Our little Maverick is our Angel and we can't wait to see him again someday.

My son loved music I sang him to sleep every night. He really loved the artist Pink which was my fav as well, he died on Pinks 31st birthday this year how weird and sad is that he loved her music and would fall asleep to it. If I could be granted 1 wish it would to meet Pink in person and spend the day with her. That would make my world but of course it probably won't happen if it did I would be so appreciative she has helped me through all this pain through her music and it has been helping me to some what cope. I so wish I could just call her. She would be sadden to hear it :(
I miss my son sooo much he was perfect and his life was taken sudden in the early morning never thought he would pass I told his doctor something was wrong it wasn't normal for a 3 month old to sweat pervusivly to were he could not wear any clothes :( its sad his doctors did nothing to help him :( I wish he was home with us these holidays but sadly he will only be in our hearts I LOVE YOU sweet heart mommy misses you and in hopes you never forget me:(

My son loved music I sang him to sleep every night.
